Reversi

Goal

Finish with more discs of your color than the opponent.

Controls

• Tap a dotted (legal) square to place your disc.
• Hover a legal square to preview which discs will flip.

Rules

• Black places first. You must sandwich one or more opponent discs between your new disc and another of yours in a straight line (row, column, or diagonal).
• All sandwiched discs flip to your color.
• If you have no legal move, your turn is skipped (pass).
• When neither player can move, the board is scored — most discs wins. Ties are draws.
• Corners are powerful because they can never be flipped.

Modes

• CPU, pass-and-play, or online multiplayer.

Tips

• Don’t greedily flip the most discs early — control corners and edges.
• Avoid giving the opponent a free corner from the X-squares next to corners.
