2048

Goal

Combine numbered tiles until you create a 2048 tile.

Controls

• Swipe or use arrow keys to slide all tiles in one direction.
• On mobile, swipe up, down, left, or right on the board.

Rules

• When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile with double the value.
• Every move also spawns a new 2 (sometimes 4) on an empty square.
• The game ends when the board is full and no merges are possible.
• Your score increases by the value of each merge you make.

Tips

• Keep your highest tile in a corner and build toward it.
• Avoid moving in ways that scatter high tiles into the middle.
